BURLINGTON, Mass. – June XX, 2008 – CTS North America today announced that it has signed a marketing and distribution agreement with MTS Software Systems Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, MTS operating units, AMI Imaging of Mt. Laurel, N.J. and PMI Imaging Systems of Florida, Pompano Beach, Fla., will sell, service and provide logistics in support of all CTS desktop check scanning equipment for the North American market.
MTS has hired a national sales team that is focused on bringing CTS products to the market. The MTS operating companies, AMI Imaging and PMI Imaging Systems of Florida, will also handle order fulfillment for its sales and for other CTS North America channel partners. The companies will also apply their expertise and logistics experience to provide repairs and maintenance for CTS products in the U.S. and Canada.

AMI Awarded Mercer County Bid
AMI is entering into a partnership with Mercer County, NJ to streamline the county’s workflow and business processes. AMI was awarded this bid under the aegis of the PARIS Grant program which was designed to meet the strategic archives and records management, storage, and preservation needs of New Jersey’s county and municipal governments. The initial phase consists of a Stellent Imaging system, complete with Workflow, Records Management, and Electronic Reports Management (ERM). The county plans to utilize this initial system in the County Clerk’s Office as the first phase of a county-wide solution. AMI is also supplying the Canon DR series document scanners for this project. These are high volume production scanners, designed for uninterrupted service over many years of operation.
AMI began the installation of the initial phase in late 2006. Phase Two of the project, which should commence in the second quarter of 2007, will see the system expand into the Sheriff’s and the Surrogate’s Offices, as well as, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Board of Taxation.

Recently, Canon USA has certified many national check imaging companies, including Wausau, Metavante Imaging Solutions and others with their line of CR check scanners.. This has given MTS the ability to offer a new level of hardware distribution and multi-level field support for financial institutions offering distributed check capture services to their merchant customers.
Through this product certification with Canon USA, MTS Software Solutions will offer Canon scanners, on-site deployment services, advanced exchange as well as depot equipment support.
